Just took the great big dumpy bag of horse manure I collected from the riding stables and have stacked it up and popped half a bag of compost on the top and have planted my pumpkin "big max" seeds in the top. The manure came from prize winning horses so I am hoping to get prize winning pumpkins from it.
Also managed to pop some purple sprouting broccoli and some regular calabrese seeds into the circular bed. I just happened to be looking down the side of my greenhouse where i had dumped a Japanese maple that I killed last year and noticed it had started to leaf again! yay! I do have green fingers after all, so I have potted that back up and popped it on the patio.
Sprinkled some sunflower seeds and wildflower seeds against the fence where I have my jasmine growing up some trellis. I got the wildflower seeds free from a really good seed company I found on Martin's money saving expert website (see link).
My bread rolls and soup are ready. Millie and I just tested the rolls and they are yummy looking forward to supper tonight! Along with lamb chops and veg, Who can complain! I brought a whole lamb from a local farm so we have Organic lamb to see us through the summer. See how many lamb recipies i can come up with!
